Today, senior leaders of the Awami National Party and the Forum of Fellow Lawyers invited the officials of the Frontier Association to Peshawar. The meeting was held at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council in Peshawar. Provincial President of FMOA Sherbandi Khan Marwat, Deputy Secretary General Uzair Tanoli and Zargul Khan Jadhoon briefed the Awami National Party MPA Nisar Baz and other officials and fellow lawyers and officials of the Bar Council in detail about all the sections of the Minerals Act and informed them about the loss to the mining community and the province. The Awami National Party and the lawyers assured the association that they will continue to defend such a controversial bill from the provincial government and the assembly at every forum and at any cost to protect the Eighteenth Amendment and provincial rights. They will not avoid protest and legal action but will present those supporting the bill in the public court. In this regard, the following steps were taken for the joint press conference of the Awami National Party and the Frontier Mine Owners Association of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The provincial president and cabinet members of the association thanked Awami National Party President MPA Nisar Baz Khan, party members and the legal community.
