Hazara Division Mining

The Hazara region is a historic region in

northern Pakistan, located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Hazara Division has a rich history shaped by various cultures and influences. Hazara Division comprises several districts, each with its own unique features and significance. The main 08 districts of Hazara Division are Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Battagram, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, Kolai Pallas Kohistan and Torghar. Hazara Zone contains lot of Minerals i.e Beryl, Feldspar, Fluorite, Galena, Garnet, Graphite, Magnetite, Magnesite, Marble, Quartz, Sheelite, Talc and Gemstones.

Malakand

Malakand Division Mining

Malakand Division is an administrative division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Malakand Division is comprising 09 districts i.e. Swat, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Dir Upper & Lower, Chitral Upper & Lower and Bajaur Tribal District The region is rich in various minerals and natural resources. Here are some key mines and minerals found in the division, Limestone, Gypsum, Marble, Slate, Copper, Iron Ore and Coal: Present in smaller quantities, primarily used locally. The mining sector in Malakand Division plays a crucial role in the local economy, providing employment and supporting various industries.
